Happy Thanksgiving

It takes many pilgrims and Indians to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We could not have had more delicious food or fabulous company.

Hike to a Ghost Town

Heading out for a late fall hike in the misty rain turned into heavy snow for a 9 mile adventure.

It was a winter wonderland... and a bit tricky not to sing Christmas carols the entire time.

We were bundled for all the elements.

We didn't see a soul the entire day making the ghost town even spookier.

After crossing over the river on fallen trees and trudging through miles of snow, we came to a row of empty cabins which was once Monte Cristo Township.

Thank goodness we brought snacks after hiking all that way.
