NYC Weekend

Museum of Modern Art had us captivated on our only rainy day in town.
Tasty treats from a fancy French bakery - we ate well all weekend long.
Anthony Bourdain's first Les Halles, on Park Ave was French fabulous.
Times Square...who is the peanut guy?

Hot pastrami and swiss on rye from Carnegie Deli - tastiest when shared in Central Park. Vegetarians steer clear!

Lots of lines and stairs made the top of the Empire State Building far more enchanting.

A wine tasting buzz can easily be enhanced with amazing company and an over-the-top picnic spread but may diminish instantaneously when the Newfoundland background band pulls out the pan flute.

Mountain Majesty

Snow Lake is a little slice of heaven just 50 miles east of Seattle near Alpental ski area. Our day was a bit chilly for swimming however the vistas, comparable only to afternoons filled with rainbows and unicorns, were utterly majestic.
